It occurs to me that a lot of women have given their
opinions and experiences with hypermasculinity, and I wonder if this sort of conversation
ever exist without women? One would think that a conversation about male
culture should come from men to other men, but I find it hard to separate how
this impacts women. I do think there are some aspects that should allow for men’s
experiences at the forefront, obviously with things like male sexual assault
and male survivors of domestic violence, but with how much of a negative impact
a lot of male dominated culture has on women, it’s truly difficult for me to
find a way to separate a female look on it.
