Being that my family on my moms side is from India well my great grandparents. In the culture women are still treated differently from men. In India and in their culture women have no say so. I still see my grandma today having to keep certain things from your husband although she is the main bread winner she has to still make him feel like a man . She shows him this amount of respect as if he is superior than her.Below is a link of how women in India are treated . The government in India states to be a woman in India is a disadvantage.
