"Radical Softness as a Weapon"
This is a collection by Lora Mathis called "Radical Softness as a Weapon". Here she tries to document how she believes masculinity has taken over our culture and has turned emotions and feelings against us. With these images she tries to embody how sharing your emotions can be used as a weapon against the society we live in, that prioritizes lack of emotions and strength. Masculinity has often carried with it the notion that emotions are weak and are preserved for those who aren't strong enough. It's considered emasculative to show feelings because that's something only girls can do. It's damaging to boys because they can't express themselves, and it's damaging to society because it makes us less empathetic to our people.
