Men can be sexually abused. Despite claims to the contrary, and the tough masculine bravado that tries to mask vulnerability, that fact does not change. Men who have been victim to sexual assault do not often speak out about it and there are numerous factors that punish and discourage men from speaking out. Even still, these men often have a lack of resources in order to help support their needs.
