Bohemian Rhapsody
I have always been a lover of Queen's songs; however, it was not until I saw the new film, Bohemian Rhapsody, that I really had a look into the life of Freddie Mercury. Many, including the true members of Queen, say that Rami Malek has encapsulated Mercury's "flamboyance" quite well. He dressed very uniquely, most often of a more feminine or unisex nature. When he met his lifelong friend, Mary, she not only accepted and embraced this quality about him, but also encouraged it. He says that she is the only person who truly knew and understood him. He never compromised who he is, even though he got weird looks and would be criticized for how he looked. He is not a traditional example of a "real man" (very masculine, dominant, strong, etc.); however, someone like Freddie who can be himself with no regard about what anyone else has to say, and even profiting off of it, is more like the epitome of a "real man" to me.
