Toxic Masculinity
Robert Jensen hit the nail on the head with this quote. When men cannot express their emotions because of the toxic stigma society has carved for them, there is a problem. This is like putting men in prison with their emotions and truth the only key. Yet if that truth is about their emotions, they will continue to be locked up. All of the threats listed in by Jensen are crucial including men being allowed to show emotion regardless of what it may be. Everyone needs time to break down sometime.
