Bromances

This article explains that men are more satisfied with their male friendships than with romantic relationships. The data is still very new and they need to conduct more research but even out of the group they did interview I thought it was really interesting that the men felt like this. They said that they feel like they need to be manly around their girlfriends. I'm really interested in knowing why that is. Are they self-conscious about it? Is it more specific to just them and their girlfriends are expecting them to be that way? Are men feeling too much pressure by women to be manly or are they projecting that feeling? Lot's of interesting stuff to think about.
