Week 2 Artifact, ch-ch-check it out!
So today in class everyone shared their own "masculine" artifacts. I'm really into spoken word and poetry slams and all that jazz so I know of a few AMAZING poets and when I read this assignment for the week, this video popped into my mind. While we were supposed to be bringing in an artifact that portrayed masculinity mine was one that sort of made fun of masculinity. It shows what the stereotypical "masculinity" is but then goes on to address the changes that need to be made. It's a 4 minute video from a poetry slam. Watch it, enjoy it, laugh at it... think about it!

The Men's Story Project is so good; thanks for sharing! This is an awesome example of/play on masculinities. :D
This is exactly the sort of thing we should be exposing ourselves to. Seeing how men come to learn and challenge the masculinities we are force fed.
