Last night, I got lost in the internet. I was watching the newest episode of American Horror Story, and then looked something up (I think it was Richard Ramirez) and somehow I ended up on Clint Eastwood's Wikipedia. It said he was the 'cultural icon of masculinity'. Eastwood is known for his western movies, where he is a gun-toting cowboy. He is now very famous, and he also directs. Eastwood is known for his toughness and lawlessness, and I suppose that is where he becomes the epitome of masculinity. He played emotionally detached very well, which is what a lot of people think men should be like. Obviously there is no one way for a man to be, but the perception that there is still prevails.
