After doing the module for this week I wanted to write a blog post on calling men "feminists". I feel that if we want to keep the unity of feminism alive we need to stop trying and breaking people into different categories, especially those of a different gender. It is not fair to other genders for us to put a different label on feminism for them than with us because they are fighting the same fight. We are all sticking together as one to fight against inequality and if we break out into groups the movement isn't nearly as powerful. The term "feminism" carries a lot of victories along with it, the term is powerful and should be worn proudly by all of those who want to contribute.
