Toxic Masculinity?

I came across this article titled "Why Colleges Should Stop Teaching 'Toxic Masculinity.'" Before reading the article, I assumed that when the author referred to toxic masculinity, she was speaking about the toxic ways in which we socialize men. However she discusses how some Women's Studies classes and Sociology classes paint all men as monsters and all women as victims and therefore spew a toxic image of all men. Although I don't agree with everything in the article, it was interesting to read the different ways these men may be being degrading through the lessons taught in the classroom.
